Finished Steve
Jansen's latest album, Fifty Ain't What
It's Cracked Up To Be. It's a collection of country tunes and we've
sent it off to CDBaby to make its way in the world. I'm getting more
into poetry as a creative outlet. The website has a new, less cluttered,
splash page and I hope it doesn't confuse anyone. ~ Johnny

Merry
Xmas and a Happy New Gear to all you wonderfully creative song slingers!

Steve
Jansen's album Anything
You Want To Be has caught fire at CD Baby
so I've been busy making copies to restock his supply there. Wayne Judson
has also had some sales of his acapella album Acapella Moods in
Calif. Trying to figure out a way to rearrange the studio to enable more
live playing (with a limited amount of room). HAPPY HALLOWEEN ~ Johnny

Working
on fine tuning the "google site search" for this site and the Zonic
Zoup site. It's almost doing what I want it to...if I can just get the planets
aligned right. Enjoy summer! ~ Johnny

Still fine
tuning the Zonic Zoup
website and working on a couple of new tunes with
a dance feel. We are on CD Baby and their distribution sites! ~ Johnny

Happy
New Year everyone! May your successes
match your dreams in the coming year. I stole that quote from Bob Leduc
- a great friend and bass
player.

Johnny is
busy creating a website for his band - ZONICZOUP. It will be a focal point
for his songwriting. He is also making new business cards for the same
reason. Jokerz Wild is soon to be featured on CD Baby! Yes...he is also
working on 2 new songs and a narration.
December 1, 2008
Johnny just
bought a laptop (so he can accomplish more!?) and guess what...the silly
thing has a learning curve! Going from XP to Vista (his software doesn't
play well with others) plus a different keyboard layout may be just what
Johnny needs to finally send
him
over the
edge.
August 3, 2008
Johnny is
creating and revising a minidisk sampler for the Jokerz Wild album that
will play on a computer. He is also doing battle with 3 (yes 3) computer
viruses that his anti-virus software says has been taken care of...
Jan 23, 2008
Wendell
Radke is going back into the prostudio arena to get a band sound
sound for his latest songs. He has also been promoting the Jokerz Wild album
every chance he gets (he has several collaborations on it).
Oct 23, 2007
Johnny and
his album are now also on Facebook.com. He seems to be everywhere...

Johnny is working to fine-tune the myspace.com page for Sonic Soup Music. We hope
to attract some extra traffic to our website. Try it out at myspace.com/johnnysonique. Steve
Jansen has won some more awards (as usual) for his great lyrics.
Check out the listing on his bio page.

This
month we welcome a new bi-weekly column by Everyman;
a drummer, singer, and Life Coach from MA. He provides valuable insight
into the human condition
, creativity, and getting along in a world where, so many times, only lip
service is given to helping your fellow man, and woman sort out their talents
and dreams and do something uniquely their own.

Convenient
Music has moved to a concession in Rivers Edge Studio in Haverhill. The
store won't be selling independent CD's. Many thanks to Ben Stewart for
selling Jokerz Wild the last 3 years.

Can you believe
it!? Johnny is still fine tuning the website.
It has turned into a monster that is growing and surrounding his life like
an amoeba in
a 50's science fiction movie. He'll get back to his music lab one of these
days (daze).

George
McKinney, our primier poet, has added some of his work to
our website. He created the lyrics for "Not Enough Time" on
the Jokerz Wild album. Click samples on the songwriters page under George.

Well...Johnny finally
got the lightning directed, the confabulator adjusted, and the electricity
generated in his underground cave laboratory so the website
is back
up
and he is fine
tuning
it. Feel free to send him any updated info or photos.
Thanks
for
your
patience!

us and shown an interest in joining the website. She has worked with Steve
Jansen
over the years and has contributed several songs for his demo albums.

Happy
New Year to all you wild and crazy songwriters whose raging hormones,
clever minds,
and
twisted
psyches
have
brought us pleasure time and time again. May the new year be exceptionally
inspirational!
Jan 5, 2005
Johnny now has his Graphics Design certificate and is working on several new
songs with
which
to transport
your heart
and mind. The Joker's wild
about you...give us a listen!
Nov 7, 2004
Songwriter Wendell Radke has
been doing an exceptional job of promoting the Jokerz Wild album
in the New York area.

Yes...Johnny
Sonique is
still alive! Now he's going to school for Graphic Design to improve on
those catchy CD covers for his music. Being somewhat
warped he's
also trying some new things on the synth and in the computer. Fighting
for the Indie way of life, he marches onward.
Aug 14, 2003
Johnny is running around like crazy rebuilding websites, promoting music,
getting together with songwriters, coaxing his computers to do the right
thing, and getting deep into his next album. The music cave is awash with
strange lights and sounds, and the electricity of creation!
Oct 26, 2002
Johnny Sonique is
a carbon-based human music machine. He has been making strange sounds and
singable music since the middle 70's.
Johnny's studio cave, located deep "underground"- and under tons
of ideas, has ancient and modern Frankenstein gear which he abuses to morph
pop
songs into his many sonic creations.
Oct 25, 2002
Johnny has a long-standing relationship with lyricists and songwriters
such as Steve Jansen, Des
Gahan, Wendell Radke, and George McKinney and
uses a combination
of computers, synths and acoustic instruments, stirring them into the soup
of traditional music.
